PRINCE Harry’s former bodyguard downloaded thousands of child pornography images, but avoided jail after being praised for his “remarkable” history as a top-ranking solider. Timothy Murfitt, 47, was caught with almost 10,000 child sex images he downloaded from the web – 170 of which were in the highest offence category. Police found Murfitt had used explicit computer search terms including “kids”, “toddler” and “baby girl pics” after they raided his home in Sevenoaks, Kent in April. Prosecutor Mary Jacobson said Murfitt at first claimed he only searched child pornography, but after police raided his hard drive, they found more than 10,000 explicit images of children.
